KIRA CALLAHAN heads West to HAMILTON to sing with the JAZZ CONNECTION BIG BAND. This energy-charged and entertaining music machine has been together for ten years playing the best of big band jazz. TORONTO DOWNTOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL JUNE 27TH

The KIRA CALLAHAN QUARTET plays new official jazz fest venue AQUILA on this gorgeous summer afternoon. Come and soak in the rays and a cold drink on AQUILA's rooftop patio while we play the best jazz and blues goin'. Music from 2pm - 5pm. AQUILA is at 347 Keele St. in the Junction. 416-761-1956.

WATERLOO JAZZ FEST Sunday July 18th, 2010

KIRA CALLAHAN and the JAZZ CONNECTION BIG BAND play the UPTOWN WATERLOO JAZZ FESTIVAL. Fun in the summertime! Bring the whole family for some great outdoor jazz. I'll be singing bright cheery swing tunes, some moody blue grooves and a few lush ballads - all backed by an 18-man powerhouse big band. The show is FREE, and we're on at 1:30pm. You might want to stay for more great music happening after us as well. Make a day of it! The UPTOWN WATERLOO JAZZ FESTIVAL is at 100 Regina St. South in Waterloo. THE KIRA CALLAHAN TRIO featuring jazz icons REG SCHWAGER on GUITAR and GEORGE KOLLER on BASS are playing a 90 minute show of great jazz TUESDAY JULY 20TH. Location: THE RICHMOND HILL CENTRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS at 10268 Yonge Street. This is a FREE evening concert starting at 7pm. No tickets required. THURSDAY AUGUST 26TH I'm singing with the Big City Big Band at HOLLYWOOD on the QUEENSWAY. Don't miss this chance to swing your buns off to a live big band. Hollywood is a low-brow west-end bar with a big dance floor. I'll be singing great tunes from the Swing Era backed by the 18-piece swingin' Big City Big Band. 8 - 11pm.
